Learners will focus on intensive training within the college itself while learners are encouraged to develop their skills under the guidance of the college tutors. Learners will gain extra work experience within hairdressing academy but modules may be encompassed in the course to provide realistic day to day salon experience. This will promote self confidence for each learner and excellent for working as part of a team.

Graduating as an ITEC Hair stylist opens all doors in the hairstyling industry, On completion of your course you will hold a Diploma not only recognised in Ireland but across the world to work in salons, day spas, cruise ships, cosmetic distributors. Whether you want to work for an employer, go into management, own your own business or teach in a college you will acquire the skills not only as a hairstylist but to educate your clients and manage your column as if it was your business. After qualifying as a hairstylist you may then specialize in any area you wish in the hairdressing industry. With holding your ITEC Diploma it is also easier to get work placement as you hold all areas as a qualified hairstylist therefore you will be an asset to both your self as well as to your employer. |
Course Outline
Main aim of this course is to enable learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide hairdressing services at an Advanced Level and to ensure each learner is proficient within the working environment.
