Graduating as a CIDESCO beauty therapist opens all doors in the beauty therapy industry, 93% of our CIDESCO graduates are placed within 3 Months of Qualifying by our Director Sharon. On completion of your course you will hold one of the most prestigious Diploma’s not only in Ireland but across the world to work in salons, day spas, health farms, cruise ships, cosmetic distributors, and cosmetic counters both at home and abroad. Whether you want to work for somebody else, go into management, own your own business or teach in a college you will need to be trained to a CIDESCO standard. After qualifying as a CIDESCO beauty therapist you may then specialise in any area you wish in the beauty or complementary therapy field. With holding your CIDESCO Diploma it is also easier to get work placement as you hold all areas as a beauty therapist therefore you will be an asset to both your self as well as to your employer. |
Course Outline
CIDESCO is the world’s major international beauty therapy association. Founded in 1946 with its head office in Zurich, Switzerland, CIDESCO is represented in over 30 countries. The CIDESCO Diploma is the world’s most prestigious qualification in the field of Aesthetics and Beauty Therapy. There are over 240 CIDESCO Schools around the world teaching to the internationally acclaimed CIDESCO standards leading to the CIDESCO Diploma. The prestigious CIDESCO Diploma is awarded to students who have passed the CIDESCO examinations, both theory and practical and given proof of having gained at least 600 hours work experience in a Beauty Salon/Centre or Spa. The pass rate for CIDESCO is 70%.

Anatomy and Physiology:
Study of the cells tissues and the main systems as they affect the face, hand and arm and the leg and foot: muscular, vascular, skeletal, digestive, respiratory, lymphatic, excretory, nervous, endocrine and reproductive, as they relate to the work of the beauty therapist.

Detailed study of the skin and its appendages
