Post Graduate CIDESCO Programme

Our CIDESCO Post Graduate Programme is designed for qualified therapists with a minimum of Level 2 and 3 or equivalent qualification, and who have worked in the Spa or Beauty Industry for at least 3 years. Therapists who meet the criteria can upgrade their qualifications to the world’s most prestigious Beauty Therapy Diploma, by taking the CIDESCO examination after undergoing additional training at the Sharon Leavy College of Hair & Beauty. Course Syllabus: Our CIDESCO Post Graduate Programme is a self-study course with tutor guidance, and a required minimum of 40 class hours of attendance. Students will undergo extensive hands-on training by our CIDESCO Lecturers.

Advanced electrolysis, referred to as Advanced Cosmetic Procedures uses electrolysis to treat various types of 'lumps and bumps' There are now over 21 different types of blemishes that can be safely and effectively treated using electrolysis, such as warts, skin tags, moles and other benign growths, as well as thread veins and vascular conditions.

This is when all of the hair is removed including the inside of the buttock. This is a straight line of hair measuring approximately 1.5 to 2 cms on either side of the vagina. This is the removal of any hair that would be visible if your client was wearing a thong or swimwear.

By working each zone and point on the feet correctly you can help to rebalance body systems and free the flow of energy within the body. Reflexology can help create a state of equilibrium and balance.

Advanced Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage targets chronic tension in muscles that lie far below the surface of your body. You have several layers of muscle in your back and while Swedish massage may help the first couple of layers, it get dramatic results for the muscle underneath. Deep muscle techniques usually involve slow strokes, direct pressure or friction movements that go across the grain of the muscles. Massage therapists will use their fingers, thumbs or occasionally even forearms and elbows to apply the required pressure. This workshop will help you to develop your massage technique and bring your massage to the next level, without putting strain on your body.

Our ITEC Level 5 Diploma course is a Level 6 on the Irish framework. This qualification is a self-paced study programme which once achieved will equip a trainee lecturer with the skills and tools to lecture on courses they have all ready been trained in. Our Diploma in Education & Training is designed to allow you to work at your own pace with the full support of your Course Tutor. The main aim of the ITEC Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training is to prepare Trainee Teachers to teach in a wide range of contexts.
