After 6 years of qualifying as a beauty therapist at Sharon Leavy's college i decided to go back and up-skill my career a little. I went back and did the 5 week gel nail technician course and also did the eyelash extension course just over the past few weeks. The gel nail tech course was amazing, i already did shellac which i learned in the college when i first studied but i always had a passion for gel nails! The course provided our kits which were very good, included everything u needed. The course was so well run and was good the way it was only on a Tuesday eve for 5 weeks which meant it gave u time to practice in between. Edel the tutor was so good to each and every one of us and gave us all the tips and tricks there is to nails! Highly recommended. The eyelash extension course was a one day course and was very well run also - with eyelashes you need to be interested in them to achieve the best results. They take loads of practice but are well worth it once u get the hang of them. Another course id highly recommend. Im already thinking what course to do next � Im working in the beauty business since i left in 2011 and this was all with the help of Sharon herself helping me find work just after i left. All staff are amazing at the college and are always there to answer any questions and advise whats best for you. 5☆
